Dr. Edward and Charline Barger
Dr. Edward Barger has been in full time ministry since February, 1983. He has served as Senior Pastor of three local churches that he founded. He was the founder and Executive Director of Restoration Village, a drug and alcohol sober-living facility, and Calvary Christian International Bible College. He is currently the Senior Pastor of The Rock Church Bakersfield. Pastor Barger also oversees numerous other churches throughout the world offering leadership, training, and discipleship. He ministers across our Nation and has ministered in over 20 countries.
Pastor Ed is highly in favor of education. He is the Chancellor of The Rock Church School of Ministry. He constantly is encouraging others to grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Over the years, Pastor Ed has earned several degrees, including a Doctorate of Christian Psychology, Doctorate of Ministry, and a Doctorate of Theology.
Dr. Barger is a compassionate man who teaches from his heart and desires that all men might come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord.
Charline Barger has served the Lord with her husband for over 30 years. Standing by his side, she has served as Co-Pastor and head of the Children’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and as the Administrator. Pastor Char was the Operations Director of the Restoration Village, and was also the Women’s Home Director. She is a great woman of God who has led many to the Lord in numerous outreach campaigns. She has earned her Associates of Ministry from the Calvary Christian International Bible College.
At present, Pastor Char serves as Co-Pastor of The Rock Church Bakersfield and The Rock Church Central Coast, and is the Director of She Rocks Women’s Ministry.
